to be responsible for all clerical aspects of
electrical contracting business. Full time position,
Monday through Friday, 8AM until 5PM. Duties
to include opening mail, invoicing, data input,
reconciling accounts, billing, answering phones.
Must have in depth knowledge of QuickBooks for
Contractors as this is the major computer application
utilized. Experience working clerically for
a construction company and knowledge of construction
terminology helpful. Must have at least 2 years
of applicable experience. Wage is dependent

Time Tool and Die Maker in Wyoming, NY,
Monday - Friday. JOB DESCRIPTION: Analyzes specifications,
lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine
tools, and fits and assembles parts to make
and repair metalworking dies, using cutting
tools, jigs and fixtures, gages, and machinists'
band tools, applying knowledge of tool and die
designs and construction, shop mathematics,
metal properties, and layout, machining, and
assembly procedures. Studies specifications,
such as, blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions,
and visualizes product. Computes dimensions
and plans layout and assembly operations. Measures,
marks and scribes metal stock for machining.
Sets up and operates machine tools, such as
lathe, milling machine, shaper, and grinder
to machine parts, and verifies conformance of
machined parts to specifications. Lifts machined
parts manually or using hoist, and positions
and holds them on surface plate or worktable,
using devices, such as, vises, scrapers, abrasive
stones, and power grinders, and fits and assembles
parts into assemblies or mechanisms. Verifies
dimensions, alignments and clearances, using
measuring instruments, such as dial indicators,
gage blocks, thickness gages, and micrometers.
Dowels and volts parts together, using hand
tools, such as, hammers and wrenches. May connect
wiring and hydraulic lines to install electric
and hydraulic components. May heat treat tools
or parts. May examine standard or previously
used tools or dies and decide on modifications
to be made. May develop specifications from
general descriptions and make drawing or sketch
of product. May specialize in repair work. Repairs
and maintains, in accordance with diagrams,
sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's
specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment,
such as, engines, starters, pneumatic tools,
conveyor systems and production machines and
equipment. Observes mechanical devices in operation
and listens to their sounds to locate causes
of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access
to and remove defective parts. Examines parts
to detect imperfections. Inspects used parts
to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control
instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Installs special functional and structural parts
in devices, starts devices to test their performance.
Lubricates equipment and cleans parts. May set
up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder and
other metalworking tools to make and repair
parts. May initiate requisition for parts and
machines. May repair electrical equipment. Installs
machinery and equipment according to layout
plans, blueprints, and other drawings. Reads
blueprints and schematic drawings to determine
work procedures. Dismantles machines. Moves
machinery and equipment. Assembles and installs
equipment, such as, shafting, conveyors and
tram rails. Constructs foundation for machines.
Assembles machines and equipment, aligns, bolts,
welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation
or other structures. Repairs and maintains physical
structures of commercial and industrial establishments,
such as factories and office buildings. Replaces
defective electrical switches and other fixtures.
Installs and replaces hydraulic, air and weather
lines. Paints structures and repairs woodwork.
Repairs plumbing fixtures. Repairs plaster and
lays brick. Repairs and maintains fork trucks,
tractor and trucks. Fills propane fuel tanks.
Fills gas tanks. May maintain service and repair
records on equipment. May do regular inspections
of plant equipment and keep records of inspections.
Performs maintenance duties using tools, machines
and equipment, such as, hand tools, power tools,
fabrication tools, precision measuring instruments,
cranes, hoists, fork trucks and any other tools,
machines or equipment needed to do the work.
Major skills needed to perform the job: general
mechanical and tool room knowledge. Acceptable
related experience: Journeyman. Benefits available
after 90 days. Pay: $17.75 - $19.75/hourly.
